And I feel like some of the interruptions are going to come from big picture / town in crisis moments where they all have to focus on saving Hope Valley and get "distracted" a bit from each other. But their eyes will keep finding each other!
Judging by the look on her face when he asks her the “are we just friends” question, I don’t think she will respond directly right then but will need Rosemary to push her a little. Wondering if her putting her head on his shoulder is how she will answer the question. Not with words but with actions. Though his face doesn’t look surprised when she does this so that makes me think the head on his shoulders is after they have talked through some things and have come to something of an understanding about how the other feels. And I love a good formula!! Wondering where you might plug in Elizabeth watching Nathan with LJ at the egg hunt. An event maybe? And she responds that deciding that “chocolate eggs” might be worth the risk. It’s so fun to speculate.
I'm totally with you. Agree. Like I said to Joy- she hasn't really been blunt with even Rosemary. They've even talked around it even though her BFF clearly knows. And is pushing her a bit. So I just don't think it's likely she all the sudden just spits something out to Nathan on the fly. But what do I know? I really do trust these writers to work it out. I think he knows by now that he won't get an answer right away but it will get her thinking. And good for him. He pushes her when she needs it. And she does the same to him. It's why they work so well together. But I don't think we will have a kiss when we are still seeing tentative hand touches. I think holding his hand or leaning on his shoulder etc. will naturally come first. And luckily we've seen this in the previews. They are headed that way-- they will be courting but it's gonna be s . l . o . w .I did actually have down more scenes with Allie and LJ- including the one you mentioned. I ended up taking out since it didn't ask a question or make a statement that helped to define the relationship. Glad you like formulas too! But I had the event as the Easter Egg Hunt with Elizabeth helping Lucas. Response was Nathan offering to help her and their interaction with the arch. The outcome was him showing up at her rowhouse bringing her the egg and she says it would be worth it. So I totally agree with you. I love the Nathan and LJ scene. I wonder if that's foreshadowing somehow? It definitely made Elizabeth's heart melt like the park scene in S10 and be able to clearly picture a future she wants. How many days until Sunday?? So from the costume changes I think that the talk with Rosemary happens before Nathan asks the questions, because Anna is introduced back to teaching while Elizabeth is wearing the green outfit and then Elizabeth is reacting to her teaching in the promo photos while wearing the white and yellow outfit which is the same outfit as in the saloon promo photos and I think it's the same white blouse as in the what am I to you scene.

I was trying to follow along with some of the costume sleuths on Facebook too on what they think the order is based on the clothes they are wearing. You are amazing! That look on her face when Nathan asks when she's in white blouse just leads me to believe she is not going to be "ready" with an answer. She tends to get caught off guard when the guys are doing the asking. It's different when she initiates and seeks them out-- she seems to have gathered her thoughts then. So I'm wondering if this pattern will continue. Thanks for sharing! it helps a lot.
