I have always had questions about the relationship between Lucas & Jeanette. What was it originally? How did she go from a widow in Cape Fullerton in S6 to working for the US Treasury Dept in S9? How did he know about her job & how to contact her when he wanted to set up his scheme to catch Walden? How did he know she would be interested in Walden? Did Lucas keep in touch with Jeanette? Did he see her during his time in Louisiana between S7 & S8? Exactly what had he told Elizabeth about Jeanette when Elizabeth defended his knowledge of the woman in S9? But my biggest question is what changed in the relationship between Lucas & Jeanette over the years? He went from dropping everything to ride off & protect her in S6 to apparently not even being concerned enough to check with her boss when they lost contact mid-plan in S9. Barely any reaction at all until he needed her to verify his story to Bill. He was angry she didn't immediately jump at the chance to help take down Walden. Then he treats her like this. I want Jeanette to come in demanding to know what happened?
Yes! They are going back to so many old threads not just romantic ones. I love it. I e heard Lindsay say a few times that they ask “what do we owe” when looking back over old seasons. I love that. Thanks for sharing!

Great thoughts here about Lucas….I tried to like him when Elizabeth chose him and he grew on me some in Season 9 when he wasn’t competing with Nathan. But I just don’t trust him. I can appreciate his willingness to step forward and run for Governor to save Hope Valley, but I feel like there is more to his reason for doing so. Looking forward to what Jeannette will bring to his story and bringing us some answers to the mystery that is Lucas Bouchard.
