Once again Cara, all I can say is wow! What a hug really means! So powerful and so true! How I wish I could hug my wife again, especially after reading this! All men should make it a habit and allow their wives to be wrapped in love and security! There’s so much trust between Elizabeth and Nathan! Her sharing her vulnerability to him shows how far they’ve come! I believe it’s a deeper love than she shared with Jack. We saw it in Nathan’s eyes. His patience with Elizabeth is so wonderful to watch. Nathan didn’t punch Higgins but he wanted to. But Jack laid out Billy Hamilton! Maybe Nathan doesn’t feel like he has to prove he’s the alpha male to Elizabeth, whereas Jack did. Different scenarios but I think you know what I mean. It says a lot about him. Women get tired of us men always trying to fix things when in reality they want us to listen and support! That’s Nathan in a nutshell. I’m curious how deep the Jack conversation goes! Hey there! I hoped I'd hear from you. I wondered if you'd feel this deeply having experienced such a great love with your wife. I think you make a great point on Nathan not feeling like he had to prove himself here. He was secure enough to just support Elizabeth knowing that was the bigger deal. That's maturity right? They've both grown a lot through the years. I just put a blog out and talk about how I was initially disappointed in the Jack conversation. See what you think.
